I'll say Street Fighter II because it's a classic. Alpha 3 is very good as well, superior to SF2 overall, which is normal. Enjoyed Mortal Kombat 2 and Killer Intinct as well back in the day.
Don't like 3D fighters at all, hope SFIV will be the first good one, and will be just because it will play like 2D.
