Ha, I really didn´t know that, for me Street Figther stopped after part 2 (normal, turbo and super) I played alpha once and didn´t like it, I heard that there were many other new ones but I never botherd with them, I never even knew there was a offical part 3, I though there were only countles spin-offs. Now that you have enlightend me through your suffering of playing all those bad ones I am very happy I never played any new ones. I just though it would be cool to have the same old Steet Fighter with new graphics, I hear Xbox Live and PSN will get something like that, Ihope it doesn´t betray the classics :)
BTW I don´t know if this is common knowledge, but before Street Fighter there was another fighting game that Street Fighter is build on, I don´t know the name anymore but many Street Fighters where already there but didn´t look the same or have the same name, the only one who looked the same was Bison, only he was a badass german and was dressed in black, you can still see Bison is a german in the Steet Figher games, his cap with the skull and bones on it is a SS Nazi cap. A simbol of pure evil, I guess they changed his collors and put him in Tailand for political reasons but in reality he is a badass nazi who needs his ass kicked.
If anybody knows the name of that game please tell me, I could google it but I dont know what to look for.
