Why is it only being given to people already commited to buying the game? I really need to try the demo. After watching the X-Play review, I've kind of gone meh on the game. I can't really explain why. It's probably because I've played nothing but shooters for the past month. A demo would help in my decision to purchase the game. |
Everyone gets the demo before launch of the game. Gamestop paid for the exclusive demo so that they would get the preorders. It's always good to get a lot of preorders if you are selling a game because it gives you an idea how many to produce, and gamestop gets a ton because it has the monopoly, except...
Anyone can create a UK account on the PS3 and just download the demo from that store. Just create a new account and choose UK (just make up info, look online for realistic stuff if you prefer).
You can also do it for Japan because they often have exclusive content (Hong Kong sometimes has the same content in English), but you'll want to look at a guide online (just google it) to show you what info to put in the boxes since it'll be in Japan.
