it has the 10 still. If the final fantasy is a different number it is completely different. 10-2 and the 7 spinoffs yes. and whatever 13 versus is is in the same world as 13 at least.
but again those are the same numbered games. Different numbered games are basically a new IP, just with final fantasy name so it sells a gagillion copies
