Why does that matter?
Anyways ...
After hearing of a co-worker who spent $200 on a remote control (the second excessive purchase I was told about from co-workers this week) I decided that price probably isn't the biggest problem Sony is facing; and that the PS3 probably should be selling far better than it is. I started asking myself "Why is the PS3 selling so poorly then?" and the only conclusion I could come to is that the PS3 simply isn't cool ...
I don't know whether it was Nintendo's work with the DS and Wii or whether Sony's hubris with the PS3 cause it but the PS3 is seen by most of the world as "an expensive version of the exact same system we already own with slightly better graphics"
