The big problem with Lair is that it seems to be counterproductive to the purpose of motion sensing. Nintendo's intention with the Wiimote was to make games easier to get into, and these hardcore reviewers have taken to the control done on the best Wii games, from Twilight Princess to Metroid Prime 3.

Now the possibility is there for the sixaxis, but if the controls are not intuitive, it defeats the purpose. It's like Red Steel 1 (hoping 2 had learned those lessons).

Yet I'm wondering how the controls for Lair could not be intuitive, at least for the flying (pull up/down, turn, bank, all just by making those motions). Are there actions that require the motion sensing where they don't fit?

EDIT: I mean, are there combat actions that don't work with the Sixaxis? Is precision aiming done, even though the sixaxis doesn't have a pointer? I want to know these details.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
