Those games are TERRIBLE, and so many people love them >_E;; I don't get it at all.
Every single one I've played handled like a drunk salmon swimming up a f*cking waterfall. You call that control? WTF is that? And people defend that garbage they like to call a control scheme...
The story is usually some convoluted crap dealing with labs, haunted houses, or some other dumb crap with it's awful cast of characters...
The acting is vile... just... ug....

The series as a whole falls into that category that everyone loves to hate on, the whole "shitty ass game with great graphics is still a shitty ass game", but they still buy this damn thing o.O;;; My roomate and I cannot get past the beginning of 4, because we keep laughing our asses off so bad that we just give up and quit, that game is such garbage it's not even funny. We had a contest once to see who could play it the longest, he won once he found out that you could shoot people in the kneecaps (sometimes), which I think might be the only entertaining thing about that "game".
