Wow, sudden burst of posts lol.
I had a demo for ICO that came with a magazine (OPM?) when it came out. I gave the demo a shot, but I didn't understand anything about the game (damn young foolishness!). I found out about and immediately purchased SoTC in late 2006 and loved it and I was eventually able to get my hands on ICO thanks to Gamefly the next year and loved it as well.
Last year, I made it my mission to get my room mate to play through SoTC and ICO before he graduated and moved out. He loved the games and rightly so.
The music really makes the games, especially SoTC. When you can finally grab ahold of a colossi and the music changes, it gets so exciting.
