Well then nobody should have it. Since Football isn't it's correct name either and a name that was made up.
Assosiation League Football is the correct word... sand Football is just a shortening that makes things difficult because there are at least 4 different sports with the name football.
American League Football, Assosiation League Football, Canadian League Football and Rugby Football.
Soccer being short for assosiation is much less confusing since there is no other sport named Football.
