funny story -- I actually got back into console gaming because of Shadow of the Colossus. My girlfriend saw it on display at Best Buy and the horse was so beautiful it made her want to play it (she wasn't a gamer at all, then). She bought me a PS2 as an anniversary present, though I hadn't owned a console since the SNES. And all my troubles stem from there. Sigh.
The prospect of their next game was the main reason I bought a PS3 in December, despite already owning a 360. Got it for ~200 bucks too, with that credit card deal they were doing.
That movie with Shadow of the Colossus has been in my netflix queue for a while. Gonna move it up.
