So I just got around to reading the Wired review. This line was awesome:

Battles can start to feel like puzzles -- but the enemies are reacting to your actions, and not simply going through the motions. This becomes especially clear once you've been forced to restart a particular scene a few times, and you notice that enemies aren't acting the same way. If you're the type of shooter fan that loathes being forced into a particular style of play when all you want to do is shoot stuff on foot, Killzone will rarely disappoint you.
