...those aren't the classics. Those might be the cult-classics. The classics usually involve names like Vagrant Story, and Final Fantasy in them, and they are amongst the best games of all time.

Calling those games cult classics and then naming Vagrant Story as a classic is silly.  Your metric for a classic definitely can't be sales (Suikoden 2 and I bet a few others beat Vagrant nicely) and it's definitely not quality (Suikoden II wins there too IMO).

In the end, it's just another case of rose-colored colored glasses and an "I know better than you" attitude.
