I just hope they won't pull the same stunt as CDs vs tapes.
They launched the CDs at higher price saying it would come down as the format gained popularity but they held the price high even after CDs became the main format. At least, that eventually came back to bite them in the ass as it helped the rise of illegal music downloading.
