Well, even after Nintendo releases the Wii MotionPlus there is still quite a bit of improvement that can still be made to both the Wiimote and Nunchuck; and beyond that the Gamecube, N64, SNES, and Gameboy Advance were all (relatively) powerful systems that were small and inexpensive so I don't think Nintendo will have any problems increasing their graphics if they choose to.
