A little personal story about why the latest office is so ****ing awesome.
My mother is a total tech noob. She finds the Wiimote confusing to opperate and can't figure out some basic things like how to use more than a couple of buttons on a remote. Shes used Open Office for thousands of hours and she pretty much had the hang of most basic functions that she needed, she asked for help maybe once or twice a week for things she wasn't sure about. I switched her to the latest Office and she "got it" within a couple of days. The tech support help requests dwindled to perhaps once or twice a month and shes far more productive with the software.
The difference is night/day and this is one area where Microsoft completely dominates the competition, deservedly.
