Will Killzone 2 outsell Resistance 2 and be The Fps of Ps3?

Well for me Okami looks better, but this is a matter of taste.

 

About Killzone 2 well if it does not outsell R2 (it Will) it would be a disaster, Killzone 2 is easily the most hyped game on the PS3 and one of the most hyped games this generation. There are so many expectations behind this title (which include Saving the PS3 lol) that complete minimum would be to double R2 sales.

R2 had loads of hype behind it (many claimed that this is THE shooter of 2008, etc. etc.) but it did kinda flop. Killzone 2 wont sell that much in America, it will be others that will carry that title.

What's a flop? R2 may not have sold gears 2 copies but it certainly wasn't an expensive game. It was in production for barely two years and used a tweaked old engine.

Those of you who place too much weight on "hype" really need to check yourselves sometimes. Vgcharteers excitement for a game doesn't do much to gauge what sony thinks it's sales should be and that's the definition of "flop" that counts because they paid the cost of the game not you. Most other definitions are just BS that more clueless people came up with.

 

Well by flop i did not mean that the game did not broke even or made little profit, it surely did. But many saw it as PS3 answer to games such Gears or Fable II, it got v. good reviews, there was a significant hype in media and by sony themselves, especially after strong sales of R1,  therefore sales were some what dissapointing, but it definately made some profit.

 

About Saving, well i did not mean that PS3 need some serious saving, i am far from saying that,but some people claimed like some sort of magical comeback for PS3 (sales wise) is starting with the release of KZ.
