Umm, no? He's had two videogames with his name so far, so it's not like he's unfamiliar with them. Not to mention that games like Grand Theft Auto or Need For Speed were undoubtedly mentioned in rap songs before. Any game that sells millions upon millions of copies is bound to have some place in the mainstream.

 

 

Wasn't that Happy's point?  That the game has reached such mainstream relevance that it was mentioned in 50's song?  What you said is supporting his statement.  

No, he mentioned that it hit relevance that "few games can ever achieve," even though that's pointing out the obvious since relevance is often just dependant on sales.

 

If he's pointing out the 'obvious', then what's wrong with his statement?  He/she never claimed that it wasn't due to sales.
