Well, keep in mind that diablo 3 has been in developement for over 3, or 4 years. So anything is possible, that theory could very likely be possible 9/9/09.

Oh, Diablo 3 has been in development much longer than that.  With multiple start ups and crashes.

However, this doesn't mean I think that the game will come out exactly on the date this theory perscribes.  There's multiple theories going aqround, including one based on something from the main Blizzard Website and another connected to some major Blizzard anniversary.  But really now, all these theories to when the game comes out won't compare to when the game is really done and there's enough stock available for sale.  Guessing the right day in this fashion is like guessing armageddon based off connecting Nostradamus to the dollar bill.
