Many sites didn't review both, but from what I've seen, they're pretty similar. GamePro, IGN US, GamePlayer and a few others were all identical, while IGN AU gave CoD4 a 9.4 and KZ2 a 9.0. KZ2 should end up with a similar average overall (~94).
Keep in mind, however, that CoD4 is over a year old now, and standards have changed. KZ2 is releasing much closer to Gears 2 and R2, which is why I made the comparison.
