I could have sworn you didn't need to be a gold member to download game demos. I called up Xbox Live support because I was having trouble with my accounts and downloading demos because I'm a child account or something. T_T;
Anyway, the guy told me I had to have a gold membership to download anything, including demoes.
When did this happen?
