TBH, I'm totally sick of the cliche main characters. I really was hoping for something different, like Vesperia's main. But whatever.... 

I wouldn't really consider Edge chiched.  A chiched main character would be an emo teenager.  Last I check, Edge was neither emo or a teenager(just barely).

 

Reckless, stubborn main character who can't turn his back on the innocent with a naggy and overconcerned female lead who "believes in him".
