Otherwise, nobody would have discovered it because it took until recently for it to rear it's head.

Oh, I meant how nobody discovered it much earlier.

I mean, theoretically, if someone had their clock a year ahead of time they should've seen this problem pop up last year, right? I have a hard time believing there's not even one person out there who has screwed with their computer clock.

um...... okay......

It's going to screw around with certain regular software anyway (ex- antivirus) so why do it unless you have a specific reason, which doesn't include seeing if one game that you own will happen to stop working?
