And the potential for graphics has nothing to do with the realization of them. Good arguments could be made for Muramasa and Braid being the most beautiful games of hte generation, whether or not HD consoles could do them better.

If the potential for graphics have nothing to do with the realization of them then it all boils down to this: to each, his own. Now we can stop arguing on what game looks better/ why X game looks better as it is all meaningless.

 

...That isn't what it means at all. It just means we look at games that actually exist rather than some imaginary game like Muramasa in 1080p.
