mesoteto wasn't the one calling for mods. Gilgamesh was. Pull your foot out of your mouth.
And the potential for graphics has nothing to do with the realization of them. Good arguments could be made for Muramasa and Braid being the most beautiful games of hte generation, whether or not HD consoles could do them better.
