No they won't.  Have you ever heard the term "Grand Theft Auto" - jeez.  Stealing is not stealing.  Stealing more valuable things gets you greater punishments.  This is a fact.

 

 

You will get charged with the same crime.  Regardless of the vehicle.  Grand Theft Auto, is specifically related to attempting to steal a motor vehicle (Of any sort).  The law does not delineate based on value of the car.
