It would be at least a change from the current approach which is leading to record revenues and lower (or no) profits at many publishers.

The majority of the fanbase don't seem to be too bothered with high end Wii graphics( based on the fact that they bought the Wii) and neither do the developers, I don't see that changing any time soon.

But the article isn't saying high-end Wii graphics are needed, it's just saying that it could be more cost effective to make Wii graphics first and then make PS360 ports.

One of the biggest selling points of a HD game is the fact that the games tend to be of much higher graphical quality , it's what set's it appart from it's competetion

It's also what has caused development costs to soar, so it can be seen as a problem which needs to be solved.

Developers that have been stubborn with the Wii aren't going to suddenly switch to primary Wii development , that would slow down if not kill the graphical progression of HD games

That's why it gets interesting to watch what will happen.
