What's going to be G.O.T.Y?

I can't believe someone said ratchet and clank O.o; Sure it will be a good game. But it won't be anywhere near game of the year. Maybe GOTY for PS3 but definetly not GOTY.

There are so many this year it's hard to say, SSBB,SMG,Metroid 3, Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass effect, assassins creed. Can the orange box count? HL2 + the 2 episodes + portal + team fortress might just win over some sites. Maybe crysis but it depends if it's actually good or if it's just all graphics.

I would say those games all have a reasonable chance. BS and MP3 have already had rave reviews. SSBB, Halo 3, SMG and OB are all pretty much guarnteed fantastic reviews. The others I think have a huge amount of promise.

There are a lot of games coming out this year that are going to be very good however I think one of those will take the majority of GOTY.

I just don't see anything on the PS3 that could compete with those titles. While R+C , uncharted and UT3 will no doubt be very good I just don't see them matching up to the other games. UT3 is a possibility but it's hard to say, if it did get GOTY I imagine it would be the PC version as they have usually been ranked higher.
