I would put SMG above most games as well probably when it comes out, but not game of the year. God of War 2 is not my game of the year and by year's end should be a lot lower as well. Thanks for trying though.
Game of the Year is the single best game of the whole year and there's no way a sequel is going to get that from me unless there is really no top notch brand new games.
The fact that it's this high up at this time of the year means that there haven't been that many great new franchises this year, there's only 4 if you check in my top 10.
