I don't remember Haze being hyped beyond belief. Or even MS2 or R&C. Looks like the hype in this case was justified though, eh?

You have no idea what the budget for the game is. Why is that point even being brought up?

There are many Killzone 2 budget stories on the net and they mostly point to 60 million.

 

There are also over 2 million "911 conspiracy" stories on the net and they mostly point to a 911 coverup.

 

Did you actually just link me to an article based off a rumour from Surfer Girl?

You really should have read that line, then taken a moment to consider before clicking post.

Add the surfer girl rumour that it doubled and the fact that this game as been in development for way to long (Since 2005) and you could easily assume its topped $40 million.
