Did the fans ask Nintendo to sitick Mario in a Kart racing game, on a baseball diamond, basketball court, or soccer (football) field? I am under the impression that Nintendo wants to do a game in a new genre, and they stick Mario in it, to get that game promoted. However, Sega tries the same thing, but it doesn't seem to work. The question being asked is why.
