From what I've read neogaf, the game seems to be very love it or hate it, much like it's spiritual successor King's Field. The King's Field series has quite the cult following on neogaf, with a few posters going so far as to say they might buy a ps3 just for Demon's Souls.
It seems I have two options when it hits NA:
1. Buy it, realize I hate it, and beat myself up for wasting $60.
2. Rent it, realize I love it, and realize it's too late to find a copy to buy, since it's so damn niche.
I'll take the plunge, just because it looks so cool.
