Whoever comes out of HD gaming alive is not going to be in nearly as good a shape as they went into this generation, and virtually no new IPs are going to be developed as compared to the last three. When Namco Bandai says they need to make .5 million sales minimum (1 million more realistically) to break even on HD games and the majority of games sold never reach .5 million, that's a bad sign. It's these factors that cause companies to lean on "crap" like Carnival Games. |

But honestly your making it sound like those games were any GOOD :/ I mean if they were decent then yeah maybe it would be serious to see a dev studio who made a great game fail as miserably as the above. But If Haze and Lair where as outstanding as many had wanted it to be then Factor 5 and Free Radical most likely wouldnt be in the positions their in now. I mean even with all of its crapfest Haze has sold over 600k so theres obviously more then One game that Sunk the company.....I have a feeling a number of projects that FR were doing were pulled from them because of the negativity surrounding HAZE but please if your going to claim HD is killing something it better be crappy games because if any thing HD has shown us that Crappy Games on HD consoles= Certain death for your company.
