Square-Enix is but a shadow of the greatness of the original company, the recent game quality shows that and FFXIII is looking to be pretty meh... (and i never thought i would say that!)

Someone has to direct, no? It's not tri-Ace all by themselves.

 

You mean publish. Directing would be a single man that worked for tri-Ace directing the title. All Enix did was shell out the budget and give them a date to hit. Enix deserves a lot of credit for having a good eye for talent, but they really should only get credit as a publisher. I think most people are giving credit to the people behind the games themselves.
