The question is how the series will do on Xbox platforms, as its never actually been on Xbox platforms. GC RE4 did 222k in Japan. PS3/360 RE5 in Japan should be 300k/100k at least lifetime. Preorders suggest the PS3 will have a bigger opening than the GC version in Japan.

A valid question to ask, but it was equally applicable to GTA4 and we all know how well that's done on 360. RE5 won't do those kind of numbers, but I think it will make plenty of money nonetheless.
