I wonder how this will affect Sony's plan for the PSP2? Development costs for the PSP2 will be higher than the PSP and publishers don't want to take risks with the PSP with a 43 million user base. Developers and publishers may take a wait and see approach to the PSP2 (like they have with the Wii) and it will be up to Sony's 1st party offerings to keep the PSP2 afloat.
