Have to sale PS3,PSP and Wii numbers are horendous year over year all posting over 40% drops. The story of Japan wether people want to admit it or not is that the 360 is now doing much better while the others are doing much worse.

 

Did you forget something ?

Going from 3.000 to 4.000 for 360 is still going from horendous sales to... horendous sales

Going from 51.000 to 77.000 for Wii is still being the best selling non handled system to... being the best selling non handled system

Also what changed from 2008 to 2009 is that 360 is now cheaper than chewing gum in Japan, not sure MS is doing any more profit than Nintendo, which probably cut production prices but had no price cut yet...

 

So for me : 360 position in Japan is still desperate. Wii will certainly have a Wii Sport or Wii Fit bundle coming with new colors or price cut anytime soon, doubling it's sales
