First I stand corrected in two cases, with the EU launch PS3 actuly has succeded to lower the gap for the first time with: 270k if we are possitive.
Second: didn't know that Sega was first, sadly for sega the screwed up the launch of the saturn.
Third: PS3 might be selling more in march because of launch in Europe, since launch xbox360 has sold a lot more in USA, 1,336,750 more actuly. In Japan the PS3 is leading with 735,250. PS3 has sold 0,87 millions according to the start site in others. Assuming that during this time xbox360 as sold ZERO units in EU gives PS3 a lead on 270,000. So far I say that Microsoft is fighting good against the launch of the PS3. (this numbers is also not including any sales from March in USA, if the lead of 100k for xbox360 continues xbox360 only need to sell roughly 100 k in marsch over the whole of Europe to beat PS3). So no practical since launch WW of PS3 I would say that the gap between xbox360 and PS3 has increased. Of course that is counting on that EU actuly has bought at least 270k of systems since november. Now the gap will probarbly begining to get lower because of Europe the upcomoning months.
But the reason for my outburst before was more that in USA the lead has increase dramatical, and meanwhile xbox360 is selling stedy the PS3 sells is falling. Of course PS3 WW might catch xbox360 but when it so far only is eating on the lead WW during the launch in Europe I don't understand why we should compare the launches and not the actual montly sales now.
Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!
