Publishers abandoning PS3, Sony needs to act fast (Are you kidding me?!)

QFT. There is no PS2 this time around and development costs are up. They need to make games for both systems to prosper.

 

You do realize that the Wii is selling at a faster rate than the PS2 did, Wii development costs are not dramatically higher than PS2 games, and the Wii has sold a ton of software?

You do realize, that if the Wii didn't exist in this generation, and it was only the PS3 and Xbox360, the PS3 would have sold at least like 5 milion units more by now?
Especially during the PS3's launch period, since the Wii stole a lot of the PS3's launch thunder, due to the masive hype the Wii gained at the same time..

If this wasn't the case, and the PS3 was solely comepeting with the 360, I'm quite sure that you wouldn't see publishers abondoning the PS3 in the same way they are now.. 

 

 

I just meant that the Wii is irrelevant in this discussion.
