d12ewis, this is unlikely, but is it possible that from the other cops perspective they were trying to hep you? May be in their minds you were ruining your engagement going off with this "holster sniffer" and they thought if they took her away from you/ made her life miserable you would leave her/ she would dump you and you would go back to your finance. May be they are just idiots and the whole thing was a misunderstanding.
