Wii Sports has to be one of the most influencial games of all time. It showed off what the Wii was capable of and expanded the gaming market. If that's not a good game then I don't know what is.

 

 

There's also the fact that many of the Wii's sales are due to the fact that people want to play Wii Sports.  Just look at the sales of Wii Sports in japan, where it isn't packed-in.  As to the question of which character is the best, are you claiming the Gran Turismo series isn't an IP?
