Oh hell no.
1)I definitely don't want to be playing with the kind of crowd that xbox live has.
2)That would mean using GFWL instead of steam for the game. What PC gamer in their right mind would pick GFWL over steam?
As for windows vs. linux games/applications performance, it really depends on how the developers wrote the thing but in general my experience has been that a well written app will run slightly better in linux than in windows...
