You used titles like Halo 3 and GOW2 which everybody knows are heading for PC. Without those titles, the 360 is actually behind in the number of AAA games. Now you can leave them on the list and even call them exclusive until things change, but then your only lying to yourself in a thread that is supposed to argue for "real exclusives". There are also several games on the 360 list that are arguebly ONLY there because of the years head start: Saints Row, MotoGP06, Tetris, Namco Museum and Dead Rising. Quite possibly the biggest problem I have with your numbers, however, is the final result. 360 finishes at 50 while PS3 finishes at 30. Nowhere do you mention that only 3 of these exclusives are rated higher than 80 (even by Metacritic's cracked out standards). On your list, 28 of the 360's 29 exclusive lead are rated lower than 70%. 21 of these titles are not even at 60%. |
If the 360 last 7 years, and the PS3 last 10 years, then would we only compare the games for each console between the six years both consoles are on the market? That would sound pretty dumb to me...
Metacritic is the STANDARD review score we use because it takes an average.. PS3 fanboys use it as much as 360 fanboys, its not perfect, but its fair and impartial!!
What source are you using that said that Halo and Gears 2 was heading to the PC? Cause I have sources that say that Sony is closing all its 1st party studios.. we should trade sources and become "All Knowing Sentient Forum Nerds"!
PS - Whats the best way for Sony to make more money off its 1st party studios?? PC Ports!! They will come, just wait and see!
