Yeah, it really is strange how stuff like that works :P I always find it super easy to be able to sleep with ex's, I mean for one, they pretty much know you won't be going out again, and you can have something with no emotional ties, yet still remain friends of sorts as well. But the girl your in love with will never have that feel. You can't just sleep with her and not think about her after. Love is so deep and so complicated, the physical boundary really does seem quite small by comparison.
I really do think there can be a separation of mind and body, and it's when you have both that "love" really shows it's course. The sex at that point just means more than it ever could with anyone else :P
