plug your headphones into your tv/stereo/reciever if possible.
If not then buy a composite to 3.5mm jack converter or a component to 3.5mm jack converter. I bought my component to 3.5mm converter for a dollar at radioshack/the source by circuit city. (I live in an apartment and my late night gaming sessions would get me in trouble without it).
