You'd think so, but this is often less effective than it might seem.

I'm just saying that in the case of myself and, I suspect, more than a few others around here, being in a relationship has done little to quell game-buying habits.

 

If anything it increases the number of purcahses.  Looking for games that appeal to both people in the relationship is harder than buying games just for yourself!

beyond that, Multiplayer games are far more fun when you always have someone to compete against!
