The games don't matter that much as MGS4 proved (or if they do, they don't boost hardware for a long time, perhaps they have an almost equal effect before and after they launch).

second this. A better timing to bring up this topic is when PS3 starts outselling 360.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
