She called me just now, and said that my boss made her come to his office. He told her that he's not going to have people like her in his county anymore. She told me that he says "If I so much as see you driving a car, I'm going to have you arrested", and that "He can make it where she never sees her daughter again." I don't exactly know how to deal with this situation just yet. I was told a year ago by one of my superiors that I "was a good cop. This girl isn't worth throwing a career away for". And maybe she isn't. Still, my career isn't worth losing myself for.
Oh well. It feels good to vent. I'll figure out something. I always do! |
