Also, I don't think Japan only makes "mediocre games". There are some great developers in the east, and they're all focusing on Wii since gamepad consoles don't interest them.

 

I own a wii, and I've probobly bought more games than most on here, and its got a mediocre library.

Japanese game studios are cranking out a lot of shovelware.

It's not that they're into non gamepad whatever the fuck that means, seein as most wii games play just like a gamepad except with a bit of waggle, so its not like its totally different aside from say ten games that actually use the system well.  They just make for whatevers cheap and selling.  I'm shocked all of japan hasnt gone to just DS and cell phones, but thats where they seem to be goin.

I truly miss the japanese games of old. 

Also how are they all focusing on the wii?  konami and capcom to me are the kings of japan development since sega went to shit, and where do all their big games go?  360 and PS3.  Castlevania Judgement?  if thats their focus they can keep it.

Oh forgot square, they did make that shovelware wiiware game.  More focus.

I wish they were focusing on it a bit and making good games on it, but come on man.
