Capcom: RE5 can still “loosely be considered a survival horror game! BOOO!

It's also not so similar to Gears as there is no cover system in RE and it's a little bit more fast pace

It's not similar to Gears of War at all. In GoW the enemies take cover and you usually don't have to go toe-to-toe with them... In this game it's the absolute opposite, with every enemy eager to get their hands (and machetes, explosives, giant axes and chainsaws) on you.

 

 

that's Y i said not so similar people are putting this game off b/c they think its like GEARS i've seen a lot of post saying that RE5 is giong to bomb or now it's like GEARS ehwww  it has changed but it doesn't bother me to much the things that u mentioned still offers a good scare
