Ever hear of jet fighters? I'm pretty sure they had a bunch scrambled and probably flying around to watch everyones back... could be a fly too though.
Aliens wouldn't be so smart as to hide their existence so well just to show up at one of the most televisied events in the history of the world.
I know i saw like 50 "what if terrorists attacked the innaguration!" stories on CNN the week before.
